Country Assignment Preference forms are distributed to volunteers in January.

The trainers explained the process used by the International Office to place volunteers in assignments. Data from approximately 600 volunteers from all over the country are supplied to the International Office and a computer weighting system is used with consideration of the rank order of volunteers' country preference.

The COUNTRY ASSIGNMENT PARTY is usually held February with the volunteers and parents receiving their assignments.
