The Houston Chapter begins with a POTLUCK SUPPER each year for both volunteers and parents. This is a very important event, and your attendance is critical. If you unable to be there—you must send at least one person to pick up important materials and information. Date: Sunday, November 16, 2008 Time: Registration 5:45 PM; Program and Dinner 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM Where: West University Elementary, 3756 University Blvd, 77005 (see map) Please bring a dish (with a serving spoon) which serves 12 people. Drinks and paper products will be provided. Food assignments are as follows: Last Name A - L Casseroles Last Name M - R Salads Last Name S - Z Desserts   During the evening, parents and volunteers will learn about training and field experiences. Most important, you will be given your kit to begin the Letter Writing Campaign. We’ll see you and your family on November 16th, 2008.
